Mindfulness in challenging times
This page is just for you – students at Yule Brook College who are learning from home because of COVID-19 or other reasons.
The photo on the left is of a first responder – someone who has learnt ways to stay focused, strong and caring in difficult times. Mindfulness can help you strengthen these capacities.
Your Advisory Teacher will have ideas about what you could practice. Remember to check in with an adult you trust if you are unsure about any of the practices or what you experience. You could also talk to the Team Leader of your year level or Ms Tedeschi (school psychologist) if you need support or have questions.
